I have always been fascinated by the objectivity and preciseness of science and the subjectivity and beauty of art. While painting, I can not stop thinking about the color as a simple electromagnetic radiation in visible range and about perception of the world around me in terms of spectrum of light or color wavelength, However, physical or physiological quantification of color does not help to explain psychological perception of art. This is why the same piece of art can cause different, sometimes opposite, emotions in different viewers... Seeking the answer, I do not limit myself by a certain subject or theme. My heart belongs to the world filled with artistic images of life – be it flowers or seascapes or street dance... Life in its entirety, intensity and beauty attracts me. Of all the techniques I have tried before (such as pastels, watercolors and charcoal) I prefer oil on canvas, which gives me better opportunities to express myself.
